EN 12004

The UNIFRAME-MINI testing machine is a fully automatic device specially designed for testing the transverse deformation of tile adhesives and grouts in accordance with the requirements of EN 12004.

During operation, the machine measures the transverse deformation of a tile adhesive or grout sample of specified dimensions (3 mm thickness) while subjecting it to a 3-point bending load that is gradually increased so that the transverse deformation is constant at 2 mm/min. The test is terminated when failure occurs.
The rate of transverse deformation is automatically controlled by an advanced closed-loop controller based on a customised algorithm.
